Create Online Store To Earn Money ~ How is your business today? Hopefully more smoothly yes. This time I will give a tutorial on how to create an online store with PrestaShop. PrestaShop is one online store solution that is in great demand today. According to statistics, there are over 100,000 stores on the internet are made with this PrestaShop. This figure is fantastic considering new PrestaShop launched in 2007.
PrestaShop is an e-commerce component that can be used by anyone and is open source (free). Almost the same as Joomla and VirtueMart, just different technology. For those of you who want to learn to create an online store with Joomla and VirtueMart can read my article here.
Large user base makes me interested in exploring this Prestashop and share it with you. Oh yes, in the year 2011 and won PrestaShop Open Source Award as the Best Open Source Business Application. Well, so it would not hurt to learn this PrestaShop? Who knows your business online is increasing. - Make sure you have a web server and database server on a computer / laptop. I recommend you use XAMPP, because you will get both of them with a single install. - Download the application here PrestaShop version 1.4.6.
Steps
- Extract the file you have downloaded the application PrestaShop, prestashop folder will appear.
- Prestashop folder and copy all its contents to the public folder of your web server. If using XAMPP, copy to c: \ xampp \ htdocs.
- Rename the folder that was copied prestashop with a name that reflects the name of your store (eg: tokosaya).
- Open a web browser and access the page by typing http://localhost/tokosaya installation.
